guite an interesting and bold choice.
Black is dull and bland, so does the grey one. They both blend in the rest of the competition.
Honor 8 looked amazing in blue but the white and black were boring.
The green S6 was awesome so this Violet could work.

More than 4GB of RAM has been proven to be effective when compared the S7 or S7 Edge against the OP3 with 6 GB of RAM several times. Just look on YouTube. It is about RAM caching etc.
