ZTE: ok we sell good amount of phone with very goo specs and decent prices lets expand our world coverage "after all ppl R ppl around the world"

pay fine for selling smartphones with American-built Qualcomm chipsets????.....that's funny....if that was the only reason, Sony, Lenovo, Samsung, LG and other companies should pay fine as well............

Well, hopefully they will find a way to settle as much as possible. Because ZTE was and is doing an excellent job, mostly with the Axon 7, etc. And I'm already waiting to see the Axon 8.

For a measurement:
In 2000, Nokia was supplier of Telecom to Iran worth 2B$ Annually.
In 2002, Ericcson, Alcatel and Sagem were supplier, worth 6B$ Annually.
In 2006, Huawei became the supplier, Worth 50B$ in total.
In 2010, ZTE Supplied US based good to Iran to improve 3G and 4G in Iran.
Their contract was finished in 2014. The contract worth, 28B$.7B$ each year.
So, ZTE is winner.
50 Million indirectly Active customers.

it would be cheaper for them to exit the US market and not pay the fine. I a few years, the us will want to enter into those markets and zte can go right back to business.

Those sells where really worth more than those fines?
