Anonymous, 08 Mar 2017If ZTE refuses to pay the fine demanded by the US then they... moreThey have, the business in the US for ZTE is too good to be shut out of.

Interestingly enough ZTE paid for the chipsets already, and now is paying more to US Government. I wonder who actually gets this money? I found that the Department of Commerce's budget per year is $14 billion. So I guess this fine will pay for 1/14th of the budget for the year? lol

If ZTE refuses to pay the fine demanded by the US then they will likely be denied acces to the US market. So ZTE must have weighed the benefit of continued access to the US market higher than not paying the fine that the US demands.

Oh my goodness, i feel so sorry for ZTE, they make great phones and sell them at v good prices!!
