A ... moreThey can have my fingerprints fine they already got it when I registered to cite, they can have my iris, they already have it when I took a police clearance, they can have my blood type already in my birth certificate, soy ooh my porn collection give I don't care, but this backdoor vulnerability poses a threat where malicious third party hackers might get their hands on this methods and use it to exploit this vulnerability, and who could say this government agency doesn't go rouge and just go using this information to threaten people, I don't care about privacy but I can see how this can be used for malicious purposes that's what care about.

Has the CIA come out and said why they feel the need to be hacking everything left right & centre?
I mean doesn't china have more people using a completely different social media that isn't facebook and twitter? wonder where that one came from... And I wonder who is sitting through tons of data rn

I reckon google and apple knew something about this beforehand, I mean a) its obvious the CIA have hacked multiple platforms like they have & b) the companies are probably being told to hush hush, to come out and say close to the same thing as one another they probably haven't even looked at stopping the openings that the CIA have been crawling through.

I'm half British, IMO in this world, British and American think they are the most, top class society and top top top in many (if not everything). So they think other will jealous, will hate, will do bad to them so they so afraid, but I think American is beyond, they just paranoid. Worst: they leaders or most people who have influence there like to tell horror imagination, where ever you in church, school, masjid, park, party and get more intend when election campaign. They live in horror story.
When they heard about "this is the most safest, the most secure" they will celebrate it and line to get it. We know when the first iOS born and apple state "The most safest and secure OS" people gone crazy in love and buy Apple. My family too! I got one too from my old man.
Now when they got news there are "backdoor", most of them pretend to ignore it but in they head they get more paranoid.
Then ask yourself: if you are good people, do good, then why need to be paranoid? Why need horror imagination story to tell in campaign or school activities or prayer? Guess what: most of them: they dont live good, or they are not good people, or that are how your society work, or horror make profit for some (high class people).

Why is CIA not criminalised for these actions and behaviours? Surely there is NO such thing as RIGHT to ANONIMITY and RIGHT to PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY in the United States of America.
If a n individual tries to hack another person or organisation's system, there will be repercussions. But if its the CIA, we just let them get away with it. Because its "intelligence" LOL how dumb americans are

The courts have ruled that collecting "metadata" like the time and number of your phone calls and the address on mail you send isn't covered by the fourth amendment.
Most of this nonsense is hysteria driven by ignorance. People seem to want to go to great lengths to protect themselves against something that isn't happening to them and never will, meanwhile the bad guys are getting a free ride and people will blame the government for not doing more.

The day you understand that you'll realize how your view is actually an attack on other people's freedoms, sure you have the right to relinquish *your* freedom in that way, but not the right to force others into not having a choice -- a legitimate choice by the way.

One GOOD reason NOT to buy the S8 is the iris scanner.
A few years back they introduced the fingerprint scanner, after they added the face unlock feature, now they start with the iris scanner. I bet in 5 years max they will add the blood test feature to "check for your sugar levels" :))
That module to measure the sugar levels in your blood was actually something they wanted to go for until Fuggle decided to buy Project Ara so they could discontinue it because it was going to interfere with the Pixel.
Also, in case nobody knows, WiFi can be used as a radar that can see anything inside a house in real time. Add a good software to translate those radar waves into 3D image frames and voila! Another super surveillance technology..

I think to believe that your phone isn't being spied upon is naïve and I believe for once second they fixed the hole to infiltrate your mobile phone or any other device.
Android was built to be used as surveillance big brother is real and I doubt there is much we can do except don't have a phone. This is the future now.
I hate to be a cynic but looks like Snowden was right and unless we reject these phones it will just get worse.

We could go on on about that. iOS well...hardening is their fortet. Not much wiggle room. Windows Mobile is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I would put it above Android in hardening dept anyday. What do you think?
