A company with constant losses, no matter how much market share, will eventually have to sell or go out of business. Profit still remains the name of the game.

I would like to see Samsung self made OS. That would be great. Tizen could really make a difference.

Apple have limited choice but that means people will have to buy one of those since iOS is an apple only software. Everyone is competing with Apple and Samsung and will never get to their stage as long as they just make the same old stuff.

AnonD-650987, 09 Mar 2017Wow it's shocking to see Samsung and Apple eating the marke... moreyeap thats right. truth is people want a refined product and in mobile phones it must be both hardware and software and for those who aint know "lagwiz" from sammy most refined android skin todate infact nougart borrowed alot of functionality from it shows you where true power lies. sammy may take time to update but they leave no room for green horn mistakes to mess up thier galaxies. now lets see who says sammy sucks and to rub it in a bit more, sammy mastered thier optimization to a point were thiere phones last a lot longer on a single charge compared to similar speced hardware from rival oems. thats just the battery alone when jt comes to software they are far ahead to a point were its not even funny when u hear of useless features from other oems like "knock to wake" who needs that when u can just use a biometric sensor which is always faster and safer. lets not go into thier exynos soc now.

It's just as you said: one day, it's Nokia, Moto and BB - which we once thought were infallible. Next thing we know, it's now Samsung, iPhone, and Huawei that are on top. In a few years, the landscape could change again.

world has changed hasn't it ? where you don't see all big names together :)
Sony - Nokia - Blackberry - Motorola ect.. are not in it and struggling
people are adopting to it anyway and the top 3 deserve their places I guess
