And then you point at samsung because they took the apple screen and turn it into something better, called a gorilla glass.
And they look at apple IPS display and launch a super amoled screen...
So apple can do it, but not samsung? ... ahaha ... funny i like that.

Man all I can say is well said! People keep denying that apple changed the way the world create smartphone so let them fool themselves who cares! If it wasn't for apple samsung would still make the boring ugly phones they always did.
People keep saying apple didn't invent, yes we know it didn't invent but it made the new standard for smartphones today that you can find in every smartphone. For example, Ford were the first to make the seatbelt but it was only attached from 2 sides but then volvo came with the modern 3 corners seatbelt which changed the seatbelt for ever! And today you find the 3 corners seatbelt in every car.
Volvo also created the modern airbags and child chair so that's the reason people say that you find a volvo in every modern car today and this applies to apple because you find an apple in every smartphone today.
Samsung ha?! What a joke. The best they can do is copy apple and add their fancy screens to make it look better. Tell me what innovations did they bring to the smartphones? copying the ipod/iphone/ipad enough is enough!
Samsung are using their money to show the world that they can create! But the truth is samsung is a wannabe! It wants to be like Sony and it wants to be like apple because it still doesn't have a strong identity and premium feeling like other brands do.

Most hardware QWERTY keyboards are no easier to type on than their onscreen counterparts but the slide idea is a good one for keeping controls out of sight. Sony already did this with the PSP Go - which had its reasons for not being as successful as the PSP Slim.
To me, Xperia Play is the next evolution of the PSP and builds on the ideas explored with PSP Go by adding the full gaming capabilities of dedicated hardware to the versatility of an already great smartphone platform.

SE always made good phones . also best ... moreyes you're right.. and don't forget the best built quality (maybe on par just with nokia) but never all at once in a single phone (i should know,In the last 8 years i have owned almost every SE you could buy-of which k750i made me fall in love forever)....but this time they may just get it right....
I was just about to say (like many others) that all these new xperia phones(arc,neo,play,etc..) are very beautiful but dumb as hell..(single core..+just adreno 205)..BUT i've just remembered there is a console-grade game for IOS called REAL RACING 1&2-which is the best looking mobile game in the world no matter what anybody says(search it on youtube if you don't know about it or don't belive me)-that works on iphone4(which is also single core like xperia play),on iphone 3gs which is just 600 mhz and even on the 3 year old iphone 3g which has only about 400mhz.. WHICH PROVES.....the software (in this case the amazing FIREMINT) is THE most important part of a mobile gaming platform...i watch amazed at the lack of improvement in graphics on the new dual core exynos,tegra 2 or ti omap 4430 compared with the single core systems...i have yet to see one game run on a dual core that beats the graphics on a single core LIKE iphone(i hate apple,iphone,itunes,imac everything with a I in front of it..but you have to admit theyve got the best software developers in the WORLD making games and apps for them... i dont know why.. maybe they were just lucky...maybe it's time for SE to get lucky too.....)

SE always made good phones . also best ... moreare you crazy, best of every type of phone? erm no, for a start it clear that nokia have the best camera phone with the n8, the satio is the best camera phone that se have released, and that doesn't have hte same image processing skill set as the n8, the best music phone? again no, i'm sure the bang and ousten phones by samsung win in that case, i would go on slating you idealogy but i hope you get the picture by now, se are only making good ish phones now which is why they have slipped from top 4 to what 6/7th

abhi, 06 Mar 2011A qwerty keyboads doesn't have L1, R1, 4 directional navi k... moreA normal qwerty do have left and right and all other game-function keys, it is very easy to simply label some of the many keys on the keyboard with these extra game-functions to be used only in games. The analog controller on Play is rather useless and not as usable as normal, not optical, analog controllers are.

Exclusive games of Xperia play can never be played with a qwerty keypad due to the fact that they have been specifically developed keeping in mind the controls of play. btw... nothing can be worse than playing games on a qwerty keyboard. I would rather play games on touchscreen itself. A keyboard which is completely flat, has lots of small stuffed keys, is bigger than usual, is the worst ever thing for playing games.
And mark my words - Xperia play will sell like hotcakes. I'm here & u r here. Let's see who wins...
People want a full fledged gaming keypad, exclusive & awesome games support from big developers more than those dual core processors.
It is quite evident from the success of iTouch & iPhone.

Play will soon be forgotten because it is too expensive and does not have enough ram or fast enough cpu or gpu.

I know that touchscreen controls can never give the experience of dedicated gaming pad. I Am really considering buying this phone.

what's the use of speed if dont have enought control button, its like an f1 cars if even if you have the most powerful engine if you dont have good set-up you can't win the race it's called perfect balance thats matter to win races, sony have been making games console for a long time so they know how to balance hardware to match for the purpose of the said device
