I don't like nokia but I will admit that the N8 is one of the best point-and-shoot camera phone..

Mihai, 05 Mar 2011don,t compare them! it's a huge difference! point and shoot... moreDude, get a N8. I guarantee it will beat any point-and-shoot camera. I have Canon IXUS, several models. The N8 makes pictures equal or better to what the Canon does.

I buy a nokia N8 made in Finland and after 5 days i was have service problem. After i was spoke with service they told me that all Nokia N8 and C7 who is " made in Finland" have service problem becouse this stupid Rohs EU law.
I change with one Nokia N8 "made by nokia" and all ok .

I am disapointed Nokia N8. I bought a new one Nokia N8 and enjoyed only 3 days this tepelphone. After charging orginal charger atached to unit my Nokia didn't start again. Charger is ok, but my Nokia is not charged any more. I see only on the begining flashing LED located close to USB socket and that's all.
I am very disapointed Nokia and regret that I didn't buy another brand.

Have you been smoking weed or sumt... moreYeah thats right n im sorry, its the best camera on a mobile phone, but again not the best smart phone for everyone, and for video recording, it doesnt have continuous auto focus like some sony ericssons, its not expandable like android owners, but its a good phone, i agree, n sorry for bothering you like that, peace :)

The back panel of the E7 is where most of the
downgrade took place. The 12 megapixel autofocus camera had to go in exchange for an
8 megapixel fixed-focus unit and the powerful
xenon flash was replaced by a far less

Btw the camera modules on e7, c7 and c6-01 are full focus not fixed focus. With full focus u can focus with a range from 50cm to infinity rather than the 100cm to infinity that fixed focus modules provide. Also full focus is better for casual video recording since it keeps everything in focus. However marco shots with full focus lens are not as good as auto focus lens but definately better than fixed focus

I'm waiting for Symbi... moreN8 is not best in anything, maybe it's the best for you, (i've no problem with that!) but not for everyone, Android rules these days. i know that for common photographing it has the best quality between phones, but in term of features it's way behind those which have Auto focus and Macro mode. i've held it in my hand, and i know it's a good device, feels pleasant working with it, but dont exaggerate about it ;)

Wow! The video is great. Light sensors on the N8 is awesome it easily adjusts to the ambience. The video quality is great! Watch it in HD. 10/10 on this.
