I don't think it is authentic at all - the icons haven't changed on the launcher at maybe this is just me, but the white one (the S8) has a bit of a chinese look to me...

I like the busy top bezel - looks purposeful and makes it much easier to pick it up in the correct orientation. Near symmetric phones are great if you like looking at the display upside-down

black top would work concealing those sensors, but any light colors would make it look ugly.

very ugly compared to the last 2 (s6 and 7 edge) i will pass and go for the massive bezelled Xperia XZ premium. had so much trouble with my s6 edge from sending it to be repaired 3 times to having the screen jump all over the place as part of my hand is touching the edges. at least ill have no problems like that with the xperia

No, it just doesn't look good, at all. The G6 looks much better. I still liked the Note 7 design, and I hope when they bring the Note 8 to market, it will be exactly like the Note 7. Good samsung design was that, finally. But this, no.

the top bezel is too much.
I'll pick up the black/jetblack version, those sensors will fade away with that color option

Clearly the white S8 is no looker with those big sensor cut-outs. But I don't understand why Samsung is going for such a Chinese-looking UI.....

They are not trying to copy the iPhone plus. The are trying to make big screen in small bezels and neither the shape of the screen nor the body shape of screen to body ratio resemble the iPhone at all

And the actives don't support vr, can't make them because they are all damn near impossible to root and rom anymore, and only available on AT&T. So that idea goes out the window
