AnonD-507364, 15 Mar 2017Samsung is the biggest scum of all in the tech industry. D... moreMeanwhile almost any other company in their positron would have done the same.
There won't be enough to supply to everyone at that point.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2017Isn't 30,000 a month very little? Not really & it represents how much they will ramp up the production on 7nm. The 30K 7nm 350mm wafers is roughly the equivalent to the 40K 350nm wafers on 10nm in gate counts and it represents a hell of the big fab. Also there will be more layers (without extreme ultra violet) on 7nm then 10 or 14nm so actually filling 30K 7nm wafers per month will actually need even bigger production facilities then for 40K 10nm one's. Looks like Samsung found the way to resolve problems regarding manufacturing without more extreme new developments technics.

Dont you ever feel ashamed of yourself?
Hogging all latest chipsets which is against international competitiveness regulation
I do hope HTC or Motorola produces the next batches of chipsets rather than good-for-nothing Scumsung. Real scum company of the modern world.

It's noteworthy what big numbers as those in the mobile segment do - push chips down to 7nm and make cameras as good as DSLRs. Would never have happened without.

That's how they make billions by overpricing their products see e.g Galaxy S8 $900! lol

I'm wondering what will happen when we see something like 2 nm.
