Yay, more industry and electronic waste!...sarcastically speaking of course.

AnonD-558092, 15 Mar 2017Can't wait to see what 7nm chips in our devices can unleash...Yea, i would imagine 3Ghz 10cores for low end devices with 10 000 Mah battery ..

AnonD-558092, 15 Mar 2017Can't wait to see what 7nm chips in our devices can unleash...Dont expect much. Just more battery efficient as usual. No idea why people get excited whenever the chipset get smaller. Look at SD835, 10nm and already forgotten before released. Offer nothing more than very very efficient battery and slight boost in performance.

24K, 15 Mar 2017Yes they are lazy but they're making profit for what nanny ... moreThey make more profit for doing less work and having less features so what does that say about their customers?

The tech industry need companies like samsung. If we only had Apple we still be on 4.7 inch 720p devices with weak batteries, no headphones, no amoled display, no 14nm, 10nm or 7nm built cpu's.

It is like an architectural and engineering firm designed a building and a construction firm put it up. You think the construction firm did the work but missed the big picture.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2017Isn't 30,000 a month very little? Each wafer will be cut into at least 100 chips so you are looking at 3,000,000 chips a month. Still a low number but since it is initial production without Apple order and my 100 chips per wafer is a low estimate, actual production will be much higher.

24K, 15 Mar 2017Sammy always wanna try so hardIf Sammy is trying so hard to push new tech what does that make the companies who use other peoples tech?

                  Lazy??

Rather be trying hard then just lazy.

Even Apple depends on Samsung. And it will depend even more when Apple starts using its e OLED screens.

If there is a smartphone manufacturer today that can really boast of having contributed to the evolution of current smartphones this manufacturer is Samsung. In the past it was Nokia.

Apple make their huge campus, where hipsters can talk about non-gluten food and H&M clothes... and everyone are so excited.

Samsung build huge facility to product parts for phones using latest technologies and ideas... that even Apple use... and no one care...

D... moreThey helped make those chips so if anyone else has rights to them after Qualcomm its definetly Samsung. Plus im sure Qualcomm would rather have its chipset in more phones than less.

Samsungs devices sell more than any other Android OEM so it makes sense to give the first batch to Sammy.

2 they are making it so it's their right to keep it or give. It's like you are expecting a milkman to give all the milk he produces to others so that they can sell it

This is true tech innovation and pushing boundaries, both Samsung and TSMC are needed.

You don't Apple, Huawei, Google, LG, Sony and Motorola investing billions to make chips that other phones can use. That's why Samsung is at the top of Android.
