I will probably buy the Mi 6 if it has a big battery and a good camera with a 5.5inch screen. I will wait for the 835 if they fulfill my needs.

I agree with you, but...This is why I will probably buy an helio X30 device. More powerful than SD821 but very optimized for power consumption: 10nm, 4 A35 cores (32% lower power than A53), tricluster, PowerVR graphics (Apple has demonstrated PowerVR graphics is very power saving gpu). Probably SD835 will be very very powerful but due this power, consumption will be close to SD821 (10nm adventage will be used to achieve much more power than sd821)

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2017Until I see news of Xiaomi's Pinecone SoCs coming to other ... moreRidiculous reasoning. They are developing pinecone for the safety from hoardings like this by Samsung. in Past, many Android brands got a shock due to Qualcomms fault (sd810) ex. Sony, HTC, xiaomi also wasn't able to make the regular mi flagship in 2015. Only Huawei and Samsung who had their own socs survived better. this time also Qualcomm wasn't able to provide others the new SOC as early as Samsung and Samsung Blackmailed them that they can only provide 10nm production enough for S8. so xiaomi making their own chipset is not a selfish act. your comparison is stupid.

I really suggest that xiaomi put more effort of resources regarding software management. Some of its latest products been very behind in rom update.
People will eventually leave and forget xiaomi phone because of bad user experience. No point keep producing new product, but poorly manage them.

This is right for G6 which corrected the mistakes of G5. But it is not correct for xiaomi. What new Mi6 with sd821 will bring to the table? Dont think Sony will give them the latest 19MP sensor. So the previous best sensor which is good in low light is the one which is used only by Google pixel and Mi5s. Mi5s is already a well balanced device which doesn't require any improvements except waterproofing. They'll launch new color versions and improved finishes on Mi5s with added waterproofing with same chipset (821)and sensor (12MP with 1.55micrometer pixel) and name it Mi6, then throw sd835 and name it Mi6s.

LG should have done the same. First with the SD821 with a lower price of about 560€, than after 2-3 months with the SD835 for about 680€. That would be great

I would wait for SD 835. I don't care about any extra speed advantages that SD 835 may have over SD 821 but SD 835 is supposed to be a bit more energy efficient and that is something I would like to wait for.

If Mi 6 will launch with S821, they could actually reveal it at MWC. Same as LG did. I don't believe they needed another month to realize they won't be able to put S835 there... And if they will in fact use S821, then I believe they'll use S835 as early as Mi 6s, or maybe Mix 2.
