16 March 2017
Samsung implemented DRAM in the camera itself; better iris scanner also inbound.

Great news! Looks like Samsung's going forward with more gimmicks this year! Between a camera that is just a slow, fingerprint scanner, and another camera, that shoots 1000 fps video at probably 360p or 480p, this thing is as loaded as my S5
          ...Loaded with JUNK...

for real guys when you talk about fps you must mention the resolutions which is captured with it.
seems no one knew this simple matter, LOL

Just read the source link and and apparently an industry official (yeah right) claims this and also states the iPhone 7 is only capable of 120fps when it can do 240fps so I'm calling this fake.

Come on, this is next level bashing. A technological advancement is a technological advancement. Sony didn't glue a 4K screen to the XZ Premium. LG didn't glue it's wide-angle cam onto the G6. And Samsung didn't glue it's curved screen onto the S8.

These developments take time and effort and bashing it just discredits the engineers that made these possible.

samsungs technique to being top manufacturer:

Flood every market segment with your devices LOL

Would be better if samsung just have a customisable phone maker website. Then it can cater to 75% of the market, The other 25% are the isheeps.

We don't even know if this could be the same IMX400 or similar sensor.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2017If this is the case, then Sony just lost it's biggest advantage. The Sony Sensor is 21MP against the 12MP on the S8....Sony will shoot at 960fps and the S8 at 1000fps. No real difference there.
The real question to ask is at what resolution will the S8 Shoot the 1000fps and for how long. The XZs and XZp do this in burst of 6 seconds and at 720p.
Samsung knows this is the sensor that will go on the next iPhone so it's the hardware to beat but I don't believe they can match the XZ record time and resolution results with a sensor almost half as powerful...that would be a real achievement.

                                      Will it now? Ahahaha...
Guess they glued a dram on the sensor quickly in a week time. Therefore the one week delay...
                                      Samsung....ugh!

And flagship phones are stil selling for 32GB and 64GB storage. My opinion might seem hypocritical but 32GB and 64 GB storage is OK for phones like redmi 3s and redmi notes. When you recognize that me n u buy flagships to watch high resolution content, shoot videos at 4k and 120fps FHD and now near 1000fps HD videos, high resolution audio and so on, it is really sad that flagships sell with "mere" 32GB and 64GB storage. Actually, phones like XZP and S8 should only sell with 256GB and last year was ok with 128GB standard for flagships. If you gonna have low resolution photos, videos etc and with smaller frame rates, then why we buy these for double and triple prices? Same is with mobile data. They are bragging about 10GBps speed for 5G, even x12 LTE has 650MBps speed and ppl are stuck with 1/2 GB expensive monthly data plans
