Sony makes them for Samsung based on custom orders, since the early Galaxy phones. I can't believe how far the Samsung hate is going. Saying they copied Sony is like saying Sony copied Qualcomm because they also have a Kryo core inside of their product.

Thats nice as it shows the sensor is indeed upgraded. Hope it's also larger, 1000fps itself is a gimmick.

The ONLY thing I hate MORE than curved screens are 18:9 displays. I mean, why the phuck should we abandon 16:9? this aremore cons to it than pros. For instance, I CAN'T WATCH VIDEOS IN NATIVE 16:9 RESOLUTION WHICH IS, I DON'T KNOW, THE STANDARD? LG and Samsung are a no-go for me from now on UNLESS they offer a 16:9 alternative which is highly unlikely. Goodby Samsung. We had a good time. RIP

If you guess in your opinion the LG G6 is the chosen one to be called beautiful, it's beautiful but according to what i saw it isn't as beautiful as the Samsung one. I don't get why the people in general in our days like to bash and punch Samsung for any motif like it was the company to cut. When was Nokia or Sony it was like they were unbeatable and like the only ones that had dream smartphones and never thought that one day they would be beaten by a company of a country which some or many people of this world thought that was a invader of the market of the growing economies of the world. There were 20, 25 years ago nobody thought that the South Korean economy and their products would reach so much success. Many people thought that the Western economic powers and Japan more their technologies would be unbeatable forever. And companies like Nokia, Siemens, Philips, IBM, Sony, Toshiba, Hitachi would be eternally queens and dominating companies of the global market. But when began to appear and grow companies like Samsung and LG the things changed and the people began to look to this country in other way and some western and asiatic countries and their people began to feel envy of this country.

I seriously doubt that Sony didnt patent its dram mobile cam sensor tech, so sammy folk could copy it freely.

Beautiful to look at and has never given me any issues in usability on my Edge device.

If this if true, sensor can't be a Sony. Sony won't sell memory embedded sensors to others for now. Samsung couldn't manufacture as many sensors as they needed for previous flagships. So this is not believable. Or Samsung really upped their game. Also no mention of resolution? Sounds like a fake rumor.
