2017 would be an amazing smartphone year, here's why
Bezels getting smaller and smaller = more compact body in a big screen
Blackberry and Nokia is back, with a much better phone
Foldable phones might release this year with Lenovo and Samsung
Sony is having a comeback after their unsuccesfull year(2016) XZ premium already having awards
And we just started 2017 and we have this, what a great year
But the thing that we might miss from 2016 is the Midrange/Budget price phones or more specifically Flagship killers, OnePlus getting more and more expensive and the P10 is a lot more expensive than the P9 when launched

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017Spot on.. I would love it if they could implement the aweso... morethey can't go pure stock right away IMO since it is not sure yet if the brand will be resurrected with their current move, it'll cost them a lot to do it and if it fails, then boom, they die with nothing left, so it's fine for now

[deleted post]Nokia owned foxconn? I would love some of what you are high on. Foxconn has phone manufacturing factories since eternity. They make iPhone

Finlphile, 19 Mar 2017Yep, people have quickly forgotten how annoyed people were ... moreI had E51 too which while was a phone with good hardware, had terrible software. That was what finally pushed me to start looking at other brands.

This phone is garbage. I can't believe people are calling for the name Nokia. This has nothing to do with what Nokia used to be.

If FoxConn was sold to Microsoft (as part of the "Nokia package"), how come FoxConn (trough his subsidiary FIH Mobile) bought Microsoft's Vietnam phone factory? Of course, we know that FIH its part of HDM Global.
BTW, FoxConn it's a Taiwanese manufacturer, not a Chinese one.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2017Nokia is just a chinese product, with an ex-notorious bran... moreFoxConn has been producing Nokia phones ever since the brand existed. Nokia Finland owned FoxConn and sold it to Microsoft when Microsoft took over Nokia which made the brand irrelevant in the Mobile World, which is very opposite from your claims that Windows in Nokia was the real deal. NokiaHMD will be producing their products in India (mostly) and Vietnam (some) in the future but underestimating FoxConn is just pure lack of knowledge, FoxConn is the main maker of Apple devices, as well as Acer, Dell, HP, Sony, Xiaomi and ZTE, they also made your Cisco products, PlayStation and many more. It does not mean that if it came from China, it has bad quality, products vary on the materials and budget provided by the company that asks the maker to manufacture it, so do your homework better next time before you spit out what's in your head.

The Nokia 6 seems to be fantastic in terms of build quality which is an attribution of Nokia. The only problem with Nokia seems like they won't have an exclusive user interface of their own and their proprietary technologies like CBD, Streo Speakers, Carl Zeiss Optics, Pureview etc will miss out. I mean the user experience is what matters the most and I don't like stock Android man. I crave for inbuilt features and think would be nice to have a Nokia built custom ROM loaded with features.. Guess they need to start from scratch on this front.

Yep, people have quickly forgotten how annoyed people were with Nokia in the introduction of flawed models. I have still an e72 which I use, but in its day many complained of firmware issues.

Nokia is just a chinese product, with an ex-notorious brand. Like happened with Telefunken, Grundig , Philips. Android and Hmd brought cheapness to Nokia products. Ex Nokia with Windows was the real thing. Now we have a Zte with Nokia brand on it.

I am very positive with this phone since the beginning.

POSITIVE it will not meet the standard of many when it comes to its spec.

Had the phone for a brief period of time. Phone is above average in terms of looks. But UI isn't pleasing to eyes. A pure vanilla UI would have done better job.

I have been a Nokia fan since the original 3310 and I have owned more Nokias than any other cell phones in my life but from what I'm seeing so far with this new Nokia, there's too much blue in the GUI. At some point in time all those blue icons will get to you. Variety (of colours) is the spice of life.
