All the new phones from Nokia are just a waste of time, including this one. No USB-C for starters! A world standard. May as well get the OnePlus3, which is way more powerful and better value when you consider what you are getting.

Nokia are the new Polaroid or Kodak, a once great brand ruined by unimaginative owners.

I think the pure stock android is a missed opportunity for the Nokia brand. When I first heard of their comeback, uppermost on my mind was, what will be Nokia's take on Android. Now I know; it's none. They could have ridden the nostalgia wave and at least given us a UI reminiscent of Symbians of old

AnonD-632062, 19 Mar 2017Hmmm, that UI is not as pure Android as it was claimed. It ... moreThis is just the Chinese variant, global variants will ship with stock.

Except chipset everything is fine. Build quality is top notch on par with flagships as shown by jerryrigeverything.

Stock Android looks ugly. They need to skin it if they want to appeal to a greater audience.

you do know its the chinese variant GSMA is testing, so they have skin that they use in Chinese market.
The global variant will be sporting the pure N launcher and OS

You can't make a pure Android/Google UI for the Chinese market, since no Google services are available there. Chinese Android phones are AOSP phones with manufacturer's own launcher and domestic Chinese services built-in. The hardware may be the same and perhaps some standalone apps, but the overall UX of the international version with full Google services will certainly be very different. The blue uniform icons are a sign of a typical Chinese market oriented UI; the consumers love the iOS look there and Chinese manufacturers have been copying it shamelessly for years (copying is not considered shameful in any way there). Hence stuff like the Huawei EMUI look and feel.

Everyone will agree that Nokia was once the king in smartphone market. It making a comeback after such a long time leave me hanging if it'll be able to make the impact it once did. Considering the number of new Chinese phones i wonder how many will actually buy it. Good luck Nokia. PS: i was once proud owner of Nokia N79.

                          So first impression, not good!

Hmmm, that UI is not as pure Android as it was claimed. It looks like they made all the icons blue compared to stock Pixel icons.
