We have to buy sony just for a brand name & there will be no os updates for budget phones in future & most of all 60% memory consumes inbuilt apps of sony media, which we dont use much.
& We get chinese phones cheaply at higher specs than sony's budget phones, also they updates O/S, & the great thing is they give better display with higger ppi, snapdragon octacore+ processor with adreno gpu & use's sony's camera.

Trying to resuscitate a 2013 phone after obviously 4 years and it seems the best they can offer is a MT6737T. That is just Best of Sony for them (Sony). You can do better. Any plans on producing your own SoCs anytime soon, Sony? How bow dah, too?

please Sony make Z Ultra 2 with same screen size 6.4, 4k display, 6gb ram, 64GB and 128GB memory option. dual sim, dual 23mp camera on back and front 16mp with 4000mph battery. Nothing too high demand in 2017 smartphones. i love sony but this tiny L1 is not for me.
