Sony has the most loyal fanbase for no good reason. It has 2600 MaH sealed battery for crying out loud and it's a 5.5 phone. In no world would that phone be acceptable, it would be barely making the day in medium usage and after a year or so you'd need to charge it twice a day ... it's close to a useless device.

I think its a great budget phone,if the price are right,i dont understand,why people so hate a mediatek,i dont see anything wrong with mediatek,mediatek chipset is ok for low and mid range phone ,so dont always be negative guys,think on positive side

Good specs for a budget phone, especially with NFC. But don't know why Sony consistently put fairly small batteries into their phones?

I mean Exynos 5433 absolutely destroyed Snapdragon 805 in almost everything. Exynos 5422 was faster than SD801. Exynos 5420 was on par with SD800 as was exynos 5410 with SD600.
Only S4 Pro was the truly best Qualcomm CPU, all the rest was mostly worse and sometimes on par...

SD has better power usage and performance balanced. and SD625 performs good. in the end most of the users don't give a $***t what processor their phone runs. in recent years SD810 and SD617 spolied things for Qualcomm and mediatek, Exynos took over the market.
those who know prefer SD most of the time or Exynos if he/she is Sammy user.
In Sony's case
1.they put puny battery(their 2017 XZs has 2900mah!!!! Really Sony??)
The Stamina Mode jumbo mumbo won't cut it every time.
2. and pair it with mediatek soc
3.price their so called budget phone higher than mid ranger from other companies.
from my ZL to Z5 dual one thing i saw was decreasing capacity of battery from huge 3200mah to puny 2900mah.

was wondering, company like xiaomi using SD 425,430 in low end devices.
Just launched Redmi 4A with SD425, why is Sony too keen in selling mediatek craps?
not a fan of mi phones but i would surely stay away from mediatek Sony.

I was hoping for a smaller phone, like the original L was. Sony let me down a big time. Again.
Keep your hueg phoens to yourself. The market is so damn full of those. Why isn't anyone making good small phones anymore?
