Your point of saving $50 is ridiculous. Everyone will start questioning Samsung for not providing them when charging near $900, including you kid. And also carrying a phone and headphone amp/dac everytime you go out isn't portable solution everyone prefers. As i said 70-80% people use earphones given in the box if they have better quality and hardly 10% people make an additional investments in buying an amp and other earphones. Really do you think the $50 savings recommended by you will get a good quality amps and headphones? You need to shell $100+ each for a really good amps and earphones. AKG is popular in audio equipment. Even their basic ones sound better than any bundled earphones.

I gotta admit, it looks really nice in black. I prefer it to be white tbh. Glad to see it's AKG tuned. Makes lots of difference on audio quality on the Tab S3 compared to the Tab S2. Many would appreciate this as many people would just use earphones that are included in the box.

Why can't they just not include some shitty earbuds, and knock off $50 from the price tag? These phones are already too expensive, and a pair of earbuds that'll last 5 months doesn't help it. Out even cut the earbuds and add something useful, like a USB-C to regular USB charging cable, like the Pixels did, for those of us who don't have a laptop with USB-C ports

Who is not interested in music on mobile (80% of customers), do not give a f@ck what headphones are in the box. They prefer a 50 euro discount anytime. Understood kid ??

Stupid useless headphones. As long the internal hp amplifier is the same, you can use 1000 euro headphones. S8 will sound weak anyway, with any headpnones like S7, S6, S5. All Samsung flagships sound the same: quiet and weak.

If you are given a better sounding earphone out of box then everyone will use them instead of letting them rot in the box itself. Poor quality of the in-box earphones is the main reason for many to buy other products.

Throw these cheap garbage out of the box and sell S8 with 50 euro less. Who listen music already have many other better headphones and who didn't listen music at all, simply do not care about the headphones. 80% of users keep the original headphones sealed in the box and never use them.
