With double the cores, it is certainly faster in multi-threaded tasks.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2017Possibly. The 210000 was snapdragon 835, though. Btw, i ... moreYeah the snapdragon finally caught up in cpu. The headline is exaggerated. However the gpu could possibly be the differentiator in favor of exynos.
Also waiting to see which one sips less energy

The exynos here is the 8890(used in S7 series) and not the 8895(used in S8 series).

AnonD-207445, 22 Mar 2017SD835 uses 4x A73 and 4x 53? are you drunk perhaps? Qualco... moreThis is old news but qualcomm have said that this time they are going with a modified arm core. We don't know if it's a72 or a73.

Also, AT reported that the device they used for benchmarks had a 5.5" even, 2750mah battery and 6gb of ram.

Performance difference btw. Galaxy S7 (GS7 Exynos) and SD 835 seems to be very small. Let's see the comparison of battery results btw. GS7 Exynos and SD 835. If the difference in battery results is also small then (in overall) I guess a Galaxy S7 Exynos running on Lineage 14.1 is going to perfrom better (or equal) than a Galaxy S8 running with SD 835. Tje biggest difference in this case would be price (GS7 is 50% cheaper then GS8)...

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2017So does that mean the 205000 score was the exynos? Possibly. The 210000 was snapdragon 835, though.

Btw, i love how this site makes a big deal about a exynos8895 score (cherry picked, btw) even though that score beat the s835 by less than this 835 beats the exynos.
              Btw, here was the headline:
Exynos 8895 Galaxy S8 hits GeekBench, outscores Snapdragon 835 version

Surprisingly no such headline in this case.

are you drunk perhaps? Qualcomm's site says SD835 uses 8x Kryo 280 cores

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2017So does that mean the 205000 score was the exynos? Could be the result from FHD (1080p) mode. 180K+ is from QuadHD.

The only chips that are relevant are the Snapdragon 835 and the new Kirin and Exynos.

They difference between them all is getting smaller, but Im probably going to go with a Snapdragon 835 this year which means Ill get the OP4/5, Axon 8 or Mi 6.

And we know only one phone announced that has the SD835

What was the SD835 "3D rendering" score for Antutu…seem the graph show about ~=180K total score and its also same with Helio X30 demo board. How Qualcomm judge its can be 25% better 25% predecessor.
