22 March 2017
Phone A is based on the Windows-running Phone Biz from last year. It is unlikely to leave Japan.

[deleted post]don't know where you got the idea that gsm would be happy if sony fell, considering they didn't say "yay" once in this article, I mean I know it was only a small one but that doesn't mean you gotta start adding lines in to beef it up

Akinaro, 22 Mar 2017Yea, right, another Chinese copy-paste ready to use device ... moreVaio is actually still a Japanese brand. Sony sold it to Japan Industrial Partners. Its not chinese. Btw, this phone exclusively sold in Japan only.

Not if there is nothing special about specs style or OS.

Yea, right, another Chinese copy-paste ready to use device with medicore hardware, that just have "Vaio" sticker on it... It sure can fight with Sony...

Seriously, it dont even have chance to fight with some unknown brands phones that you can get for 80$ that use the same hardware or even design, and you say that it have to "contend" with its former owner?

Nokia use the same method(ready device, that have just brand name on it), but at least Nokia have that bait that users can catch, and Vaio? I loved their laptops, and I still love, but without Sony they dont have chance to get even proper number of sold devices...
