The purposes of this leaks is to prevent customers from buying rival phone. Its not that Samsung cant keep a secret. If it was strictly kept as a secret then nobody will even know the hype. Samsung never let itself missing in action. Btw, this is the first time Samsung neglect its camera development. At least theres no gimmicky dual camera.

People like me who don't like "edge" phones will have to look elsewhere. It's so stupid of Samsung to not make a compact size, non-edge flagship this time. Not everyone wants a phablet and curved displays. This will alienate a big chunk of Samsung's user base and will force them to move to Apple which will keep producing compact flagship phones.

People at unpacked 29 will be like "yeah cool. we know the phone since january."
