I do agree though there seems to be nothing inspiring coming out on Android this quarter. I shall just save my money and wait for a decent Android device to tease me.

My suggestion to you Sir, Get the Google pixel as that basically looks like an iPhone 😀

Point 1) How can they do a big release? They only have 2.5 million returned Note 7s so thats not even a population of any country!

Point 2) I am guessing that maybe there changing the phones network compatability so it probably won't work with Americas Networks perhaps? As to why I wouldn't know.

Point 3) This phone is still a Note phone with SPen functionality. I would glady buy one.

Point 4) It's probably still better than some of the flagships released this year...........

Point 5) To all the idiots with explosive battery comments.....it's getting a bit old now unlike your childish mentality.

Point 6) Do you really think these phones would be released by Samsung again unless they were safe? The batteries will no doubt be sourced from Sony or LG.

Point 7) At least Samsung has taken the initiative to be environmentally friendly and recycle these phones.

Does it mean that emerging markets are free to use unsafe products ? If it is not safe to be sold in the US, how is it safe to be sold elsewhere"? I don't understand.

If Nokia releases a 5.7 or 6 inch display flagship smartphone I will defect away from Samsung. There is too much bloatware with sammy, and the software updates are sooo hard to come

Is this one of the reasons they do not want to update the still existing flagship Note 5 to Nougat?

I am sick of button less design of S8. Perhaps no more Sammys for me. The last one could be a Note 5 dual 64GB/A9 Pro or even Note 4 if I can find one in black. Note7 with 3000+mAh battery without waterproofing is fine to me if released in India, and with proper quality, because it now may posses quality issues like Note 4 (uneven gap between screen and rim), though Note 4 had it from the day 1 of manufacturing.

From here on out how do we as consumers know if Samsung is taking old used parts from their returned Note7 and putting them back in new phones? Better to wait a few generations before buying any new Samsung phone.

I hope that ''not in the US'' does not apply to Canada, like the A5 2017 that just got released here. The N7 was the best. Perfect for games, work, entertainment and top-of-the-line new tech. I'd get it without second thoughts.
