It won't be untill after S8 has sold out. And then its too close to launch of Note 8 to not steal sales. So it won't be until after Note 8 has sold out.

This is probably what will bring me back to Android, if I should lay my hands on one. Upcoming Android are not interesting. I sold my HTC 10 last week. Going for an iPhone 7.

AnonD-632062, 27 Mar 2017RETURN OF THE NOTE7!!! Honestly, there are many people out... moreYes, I would. Depending on the price. The original fault has been well diagnosed and with a slightly smaller battery it will be fine. The only sticking point for me would be the Airlines refusal to carry it. Deal-breaker if that didn't change.

Personally I think the Note7 should be offered to be sold at a generous discount price to those already affected by the exploding issue.

Honestly, there are many people out there who would take a Note7 (damaged reputation & all) rather than the S8/S8+...."
