From the SE/6S to 7 the improvement its over 900 points in single and almost 1500 in multi.
Meanwhile the jump from s7 to s8 was less than 100 in single and less tan 700 in multi.

Ouch - there it is again - iPhone scoring almost twice that of Galaxy in single core. But thats actually not what's important. What is important is if the iPhone is also almost twice as fast in getting a real single core job done.

Benchmarks are only accurate when they test one thing at a time, else you have to assign gravities which completely destroys the relevance of the result.

First you said that Geekbench is inaccurate. Now you say it may be accurate but it doesn't matter because it only studies the cpu?
But that's exactly the point you cannot have a single benchmark tell you how fast a phone is. That's why antutu is useless. You can only measure individual modules. Geekbench measures the cpu (accurately!) , IO benchs measure the storage, GFX bench measures the GPU, speed test measures the modems (indirectly). And so in and so forth.
Antutu is useless because it measures everything and makes a ghastly mash up where it assumes greater importance of certain things than others, while in reality what is most important is down to possible use cases.
Like CPU for example. It's only *very* important to certain people (those that do pure cpu things like encoding, compiling and playing cpu intensive games). For the rest it's only moderately important at most. To the rest things like IO Speeds , RAM speed and storage are more important...
I never said that an android phone cannot be faster than an iPhone. What I said is that an iPhone has the fastest CPU *exactly* how Geekbench says and you're wrong to say otherwise. In every cpu intensive task iphone wins. I can give you a million youtube videos showing iphone win not only in Geekbench but everywhere else that is CPU intensive.
HTML tests are not very cpu intensive so obviously and android may win there, your example was very very bad and actually pointed towards *my* argument.
