Anonymous, 01 Apr 2017Samsung adaptive display is same sans marketing No its really not same like Samsung adaptive screen. It work for differenly and for different purposes, its using for pop ups color. And Apple true tone display is next stage work for screen blue light blocking and unblocking depends for different day time with special full light scectrum sensor and will work for different purposes nor Samsung Adaptive display for pop up colors. If this works for same pusposes then it working very bad. Samsung didint doing anything with their bluelight tinted screens and didn't fixing. Sure now they lit a bit solving it with presented bluelight filter option with S7 note7, but still in standart screen version its not enought and need better screen quality on it and even more auto optimized ambient light tone sensor like Apple will do.

I guess it would be nice to have screen change white balance in continuum spectrum, however a more basic option has been here for some time on android.
True, ambient display (at least one l have on my S3 running cyanogenmod) has only 3 modes to run (outdoors, normal, night) but it works really, really well.

That comment of yours bought you a smile, but bro you need to grow up. The ambient sensor in apple adjusts with the color temperature around you, which helps your eyeballs from boiling. So your sarcasm should be at the height of Apple. Grow up.

The first thing i turned off after getting the ipad was the tru tone display.. True it gives a different white color adjustment to ambient light.. But the display looks washed out..
