21 March, 2011
We just got an exclusive new shot of the HTC Pyramid. The image again shows the Pyramid posing next to the Desire HD, but this time we have the front of the phones. Best of all, it seems to confirm the rumor...

Hedonista, 21 Mar 2011If the screen is 16:9 and not 15:9 and has the same tollnes... moreI don't think so . As i see it , the shorter screen is the one of Desire HD . But even if i am mistaken , then instead of being 4.3'' , the screen will simply be 4.27'' as Droid X and Arc , right ?

If the screen is 16:9 and not 15:9 and has the same tollness the screen can not be ever 4.3" because of the aspect ratio that a nHD is less larger and plus wide, so the screen sould be 4"

At start the design looks really classy but it starts to look freaking boring now!

Is there a need for higher resolution in a screen that small? Your eyes won't even know the difference. The extra resolution would just eat up battery life and slow down the CPU.

Seems that the pyramid is running on some 3rd party launcher, which explains the possibility of having smaller icons.

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2011Ugh.. You have to operate this phone with both hands since ... moreI think what they are trying to do is make it a bit more hands friendly so you dont have so much problems with you oily face. i think that was the problem with Htc HD it was a bit wide. It would appear that is a big market for 4inch phones so who am I. it would appear that even the Iphone may have a bigger screen in version 5 even though Mr Jobs has moaned about it.

The icons on the bottom arn't the same as my T-mobile G2. So what company is going to have the pyramid?

HTC is obviously recycling their designs again, this time from Mozart. But I actually don't mind because the Mozart's design is one of my favourites from HTC

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2011Ugh.. You have to operate this phone with both hands since ... moreHaving selfishly used up vast quantities of the earth's resources as part of a godless consumer driven Western lifestyle, I'm now 2 metres tall with hands like shovels which means your pointless complaints about the size of this phone are utterly irrelevant.

I've currently got a Desire HD and it's great for me, it fits in my front pockets with no problem and is generally great. Ignore the little people, what's 1/2 an inch here or there?
