05 April 2017
The bigger model in the company's flagship duo is now almost as desired as the smaller one.

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2017Usual lies. They said same about S6 too and we know how it ended.S6 is the worst selling Galaxy S phone in the last years. Mostly because people caught up with reality halfway its lifetime. This *exact* fate awaits s8/+. Presently people are impressed by the screen, but as months roll ever and they see that this is basically S7 w a diff screen people would stop buying.

I predict this to be a worse seller than the S6 even. Samsung has lost touch.

This is called Media selling, 29 million units initially obnoxious. I bet by June you can get Blue color for 550$ max. Sammy prices fall like house of Cards.

The way S8 and S8+ look it's no wonder they sell like crazy. It is just something out of standard smartphone league, especially if you consider HUGE bezels on iphones, Moto, ...

Shadow Snypa786, 05 Apr 2017Don't worry about their falling sales. Once their sales ... moreOh, Im not concerned about their sales, just their deceit way of marketing... like this.
Yeah, some people fall for it.

You what's so funny....When Apple says it's sales are higher than expected, Apple fanboys are quick to boast and applaud it, When Samsung says the same thing it's propaganda!

Still Apples innovation is doing well so far this year....70 million OLED screens ordered from Samsung by Apple, The same Oled screens which are so inferior to Apples IPS LCD screens........

Yes Apple buys 70 million inferior screens from its competitor.....

Well then i guess the battery on the small one is as bad as i expected. Most if us got the s7 edge and the difference on battery performance from S8 is too big, to be an acceptable successor...

AnonD-168952, 05 Apr 2017Seems like the 10 Billion US Dollar spend last year for mar... moreNo it's mostly about looks which is why it catches everyones eyes.

Features it does have a few upgrades like the 10nm CPU, Bluetooth 5.0, the new HDR display whic is more brighter yet efficient, Bixby, the 100 dollar headphones that come with each S8, the Dex connectivity.

Performance wise a S7 edge will be fine for gaming and apps for another year or 2 only in benchmarks tests will you see the difference which isnt that important.

But yeah when Samsung has a new flagship out it changes more than other companies e.g. Apple.

Once their sales have dropped as low as Sony's, HTC's, Motorola's, Blackberrys or LG's thats when they have to worry they fine as they are :D

Seems like the 10 Billion US Dollar spend last year for marketing payed off. Can't see what's so special about the S8/S8+ that would justify the price tag. It's basically a S7 Edge with a small hardware and design update.

People nowadays seem to make their decisions not based on rational thoughts but highly influenced by affective (emotional) impulses.

Fake news, fake news , fake news.
Really is quite the opposite and Sammy wants to change it...

Well, i think that the S8 duos deserves all this demand, they are really beautiful and innovative. Apart (sadly) the horrible fingerprint placement, the lack of stereo speakers (Ohh my God, AGAIN), almost the same main camera, lack of 6GB RAM (international), price quite high, etc. But overall, it is truly a fantastic phone.

Poor Apple - Samsung won't have production capacity after all to make those few OLED panels that Apple has ordered for its upcoming i8.

Yeah...reports from GSMA guessing source perhaps. On top of that, it's only in South Korea. The phone is cheap there, wait till it hit the worldwide market (especially Europe). Here's another report from THE SOURCE - Samsung will make up the sales in South Korea, but sales will plummet in Europe, so it'll even things out.

Wow! Samsung just finally reached 300,000+ in a single model daily hits here in GSMArena, Just short some 200,000 - 250,000+ of Apple's single model records. The iPhone 7 just reached as 550,000+ in a single daily hits interest in its first day run. Galaxy S8 now climbed ahead at that rank hits I mentioned.

                                      Now thata propaganda.

Its always interesting to see "reports" from unnamed sources like this, in accordance to past reports of Samsungs falling percentage of flagship portfolio sales, and reports of falling numbers of overall phones sold on year to year basis.
                                        Quite intriguing isnt it?
