Stan, 06 Apr 2017Newsflash, almost all smartphone cameras are made by Sony.Sony isn't the one who directly manufactured there camera sensors. Mitsumi company is the one who were making it for Sony. And its from Mitsumi where Apple, LG, Huawei, etc..etc.. orders their smartphone camera. And every orders, Sony got shares of the sales because Sony owns the patent.

Just an 11 million dollars worth of lawsuit? wtf Huawei? 11M dollars is nothing but a peace of coins for such company like these two. they spend tens of billions on advertising and waste some worthless expenses in billions and earned like a billion and tens of billions too and then, they mad and fight for such a small amount of money like a kid fighting for a candy? lmao I guess this Chinese company probably just want a massive publicity.

Huawei has every right to sue samsung, they have copied from many other companies too, everyone should come together and sue them till they go bankrupt.
Huawei is the worlds biggest telecommunications company and have every right to protect their innovations/ideas

sued an inn... moreSamsung isn't that innovative. They copy too. Apple copies too. They all copy each other. LG is more innovative than Samsung. Same applies to Motorola and Google.
Trying to imagine what phones will look like in the next 20 years because they generally look the same during the last 10. I say we won't have smartphones anymore and everything is AI-based.
I don't think people using the same slab design will last forever. There is a future that goes beyond just holding a smartphone.

Shame on those people who keeps on praising samsung. Samsung even stole the idea of making camera on there smartphones.
Few years ago, almost all smartphone cameras put in LG, HTC, Apple, Samsung, Huawei, ZTE, etc (too many to mention) were made by Mitsumi Company.
One of Mitsumi's factory is located in Cebu, Philippines. It is where on that factory where cameras assembled and tested (all of its capabilities).
One day, Samsung engineers visit the site for a so called "quality inspection" and out of our surprise, several months later, samsung release their "own" smartphone camera. Shame on Samsung.

and talking about that mate 9 with s7'ish design....haha! not a Samsung fan and I do like Huawei phones and I have Honor 6x as my alt phone but perhaps Huawei should keep its feet on the ground....

That's why people complaining in the comment section about the Nokia 6 review don't realize why the phone is priced higher than better specs from a Chinese brand. People are paying more for the reliability of the Nokia brand, not the specs.

A 4G License and some products too but seeing Samsung success in 2016.I'm pretty sure the damage aint that big for them
In fact I think they'll happily pay Huawei for 11 Million.

Since Apple sued Samsung for rounded icons on a UI im sure Samsung can and should hit back. But Chinese laws always protect the Chinese brands hence why Apple and Samsung can't do anything.
