I hope it won't be jus s8 with pen, but something better, mainly because I want even better camera and hope that that fingerprint sensor will be in front on the screen. I really dont wish to wake up my phone when lying down with my face... its more like huge mistake on s8.

Well. As said we know at the very least it will share most things with the S8.
However we all know and hope on the chance that they want to make a strong comeback for the Note.
-We should see 6GB of ram. The ddr4x hopefully like on the S835/E8895 which consumers 40% less power.
-However the Note will probably just use the same processors if not slightly revised versions.
-We do have a slight chance of a 4K display.
-It might have a 6.4inch display which might be 4K. Big bright and stunning.
But will also mean it will probably share the same form factor of the S8 pair.
Which is nice but for some really kills the complete functional package the Note used to be. We do have water resistance in it now but....
-At least 64GB base storage. Possibly higher storage possible options.
-Some improvements to the camera are easily possible. Maybe a slightly larger or higher mp sensor...slightly with at least equal low light. Possibly F1.4-1.6 aperture.
-They might have that under display fingerprint sensor.

I hope they release the refurbished the Note7 here as it has the same display quality as the S8, except the higher screen/body ratio

If I am to even consider buying Note 8 Samsung must place the fingerprint reader below the camera lens or on the front, and the screen must be flat, not glare curved, and the screen must be 16:9!

Please put a dual camera samsung! Please!!!! You guys had an amazing camera with the s7 and s8 but now i want to see your take on a dual camera.
On another note (pun) make it have a global 6gb variant too.

Funniest thing would be if they stayed at 5.7in and released it as a mini variant to S8 and S8+

Haha ohh God, let's start talking about the Note8, already! ? Well, okay then, let's say something. In a way okay i agree with what the article said, and so that the Note8 will have the same Camera, RAM & CPU as the S8. Plus that they will reserve the dual camera setup for the S9. But, in the other, no. Because otherwise, what else they will include in the Note8? For example, overall, i really like the S8. But if I have to complain, these are the complaints: fingerprint horribly misplaced, lack of 6GB RAM, lack of Stereo Speakers, lack of Dual Camera setup & almost the same camera of the S7, and Battery could be slightly bigger, (plus price quite high). In others words, they must include some of the mentioned specs missed from the S8, otherwise (apart the SPen), if they will reuse the same Camera, RAM, CPU and reserve the dual camera setup for the S9 instead for the Note8. So they must include some of the mentioned specs above, and so or including stereo speakers (but its not enough), incorporate a beggar battery, i don't think so because of the previous fiasco and they don't want to risk nothing. So most probable what is almost certain is that they will change the placement of the fingerprint, centralized it or put it under the display, but it is not enough anyway, so they must include some of the specs mentioned, they just can't skip them all, otherwise there are not much else to do, in 2017. Or ohhhh maybe they will include a 4K display alla XZ Premium haha.

I'm hoping Samsung will be brave enough to put a big capacity battery or at least making sure the battery lifetime is more than average. We still love and trust you Samsung.

Note7 owner, 07 Apr 2017Just imagine what will be of Samsung if the new Note 8s exp... moreI wonder why none of the note exploded after they declared the end of Note 7. Alot of people didn't return their note and they had to push updates to stop them but none of them exploded. I see something 'cook'ing in whole this matter. Well the good thing is Samsung went even farther than industry standards in testing their devices and now the new galaxy devices are the safest and most reliable. They even posted videos about their new testings. S8 battery won't degrade even after two years and will be like a new one. So the note 7 fiasco was a loss for Samsung but a win for the consumers who are now getting the safest devices which are tested even more than the industry standards.
