Anonym, 07 Apr 2017There's always the next big thing right around the corner..... moreman, can't you understand that a Sony director said clearly that a new PlayStation will be released in 2018? not in 2 years, just in 1 year! Yeah, PS4 Pro was a stupid released just to have something against Xbox Scorpio, may it be just a bit better than the original PS4(which is already as powerful as Xbox One S)...but the decision to wait until 2018 for AMD to make mainstream Zen and Vega it's a very good decision.

PLS. no matter how powerful Xbox becomes it gets killed in 1 Category in a Console world and that's "EXCLUSVISES"
This Year PS4 has More exclusive and good 1 ones too.
Xbox doesn't pack any punches in this Category that is why some people prefer the PS4 due to this Category.
And I'm not saying this because I'm a PS Fanboy truth to be told I'm actually Nintendo Fanatic.

Junk processor? Why is a junk? It's low power. What you want? A i7? And console with 2000$ price? What you mean more power? What that means to you? Who cares about power, when Project Scorpio will achieve what they want with it. And that's 4K gaming.

AnonD-39937, 07 Apr 2017because Sony said that a new PS will come in 2018...and con... moreThere's always the next big thing right around the corner... we are in a 3yr refresh cycle, sure Sony may release a new model in 2yrs that's much better than scorpio, but Microsoft should also release the successor to scorpio 1yr after that.
Bottom line, for 2 whole years scorpio will rule the consoles war in what comes to power. At best, Sony will get a 1yr grace period before Microsoft strikes back once again, PS4 Pro should have never existed in this timing. It's a half-generation pile of bull that brings little to the table other than making a subpar VR and 4K experience a little less subpar (because it's still underpowered for that).

Colin, 07 Apr 2017Why are you spreading false rumours with your biased comment?because Sony said that a new PS will come in 2018...and considering the boost of performance with Zen and Vega, Jaguar will be a thing of the past + HMB2 likely will be used because Sony puts big value on RAM...in 2013, PS4 was released with GDDR5 resulting in much better overall performance in comparison with Xbox One(which has DRR3)...my opinion wasn't biased. it was based on solid observations of their strategies

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2017Neither of this is trueThe first part can be, but in a completely different sense. consoles and apple products have the advantage of single platform optimization, over android/PC where devs cannot optimize for 1 set of hardware. Where this differs is apple products are way overpriced, consoles...have been pretty cheap ($250-$400). Idk what the scorpio's price would be but it would be really beneficial for them to stay around or under $500-$600...even if it means a loss per system, it can make up in games sold if enough consoles get out there...and if it's too expensive, that's gonna limit it.

Currently I don't see myself switching to console, mainly because its not stable 60fps gaming at 1080p. And I'd love to get a VR headset, but not at current prices for hardware.

Could Of Been Better Specs, Especially The CPU, But If Its Heavily Customised May Not Be To Bad.
Already Got Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S And PS4.
Think Ill Need To Get This Also.
