Jteve Sobs, 24 Mar 2011True but this are just merely facts which are already known... moreHey, what do u want? Every
company stuck to the same old
resolution they are now using in
their devices?
Mind you, apple wasnt the first
one to give 326 dpi!!! It just got
really hyped up becoz it was
APPLE!
If samsung goes for a hiier dpi,
they wont be copying Apple, as
apple 'copied' it in the first place

Jteve Sobs, 23 Mar 2011That's only true if you add up all the Android tablet maker... moreApple needs to copy android by revamping its IOS to have true multitasking. Not really sure why a company that already makes MACOS on a PC could not come up with true multitasking in a freaking tablet. Branch off from the PHONE OS and work with us a little LOL.

Multitasking is the key here. Don't overlook the obvious.
Ipads are cool and all but IOS has to go. True multitasking is what I like. IF IOS gets this simple thing right and an external freakin SD card it would be a dream. Since Apple does not have this nor seem they will be revamping multitasking any time soon I will pass on the IPAD hype. Ipad fails for the true geek and Android excels period. Noobs just love the simpleton way IOS works and don't care that they cannot change the OS to fit there needs.

458Italia, 24 Mar 2011Well all you guys here talk of Samsung vs apple.. arguing o... moreI agree, the competition gives good result,in the end we the customers who get the benefits from it. We don't need to choose which is the best because everyone have their own needs and know which is the best suit for themselves.just let samsung, apple and other compete themselves because in live we are always need improvement right?
Ganbatte samsung, apple and the other, give us your best!

sudarmo, 24 Mar 2011the price in indonesia maybe 6,5. thats too expensiveWell, although 6.5 millions is about 1.5 times than the price that's mentioned here,i think it's still worth enough compared with previous galaxy tab.but I hope samsung can sell about 5 or 6 millions.

Jteve Sobs, 24 Mar 2011True but this are just merely facts which are already known... moreApple did revolutionize the tablet industry, or more or less created it even. Your point that nothing else can ever be greater is rather silly though. Take for example the video game industry, which was revolutionized by Nintendo. Are they, the "game masters" to use your term, still the greatest? I, as a former Nintendo-fan, might have to disagree on that point.
The great thing about having other companies joining the trend created by Apple, is that we get the option of choice. Which tab fits ME better. If I go to Apple saying "I don't want 10-inch tablet, can't you make a smaller one?" or "Can't you increase the resolution a bit?", the answer would be "No, we don't do that. It's just the one tablet. If you don't like, piss off."
And of course Samsung are talking about increasing resolution. Haven't all phone and screen companies done that for many years now? Is this an Apple idea? Hell no! Look at the phone market, where iPhone3GS was hoplessly behind in resolution compared to the current generation of phones. Now it's the same story with tablets. Anyone know the ppi of iPad2 vs the other tablets? I promise you that 800x1280 on an 8.9 inch has higher ppi than a 768x1024 on a 9.7 inch one.
Competition is what pushes these things ahead, but of course someone has to be the first. Apple is an innovative company, which is great for us consumers. But don't think they're not following trends created by other companies as well.
