AnonD-660753, 10 Apr 2017Samsung service centers arent any better, trust me.They are not great but compare to most i've been to it's the best one among them. We still don't have an Apple store here so the authorized service center here was told it kinda sucks.

2) Doesn't matter, nobody cares, nobody would see a difference
3) Everybody apart from LG is using SD835. Only 10% faster than last year's Exynos BTW. Pathetic
4) I doubt it. Samsung always followed in FFC
5) Basically the only good thing about this phone, still s*cks for VR due to the pentile tech
6) Doesn't hold a candle to MI Mix and Sharp phones. Too tall and out of proportion
Don't only learn Samsung news. See what else exists out there. S8 is nothing spectacular. If anything its battery life is set to be of the lowest in 2017's flagships. And battery life is possibly the most central thing to users.

Who cares? When released people would realize that this is the smallest upgrade ever and the sales won't continue. "Looks above everything else" doesn't work. S6 was smashing records left and right, then reality caught on (it s*cked as a flagship) and it sold almost half than S4 when it was all said and done.
S8 is an upgrade on the looks department. The low battery and not much improved camera would kill the demand. Dat simple.

Well done Samsung, everyone said the Note 7 debacle would make it hard for Samsung to come back and get peoples respect back and sell their phones.
Well looks like they had nothing to worry about :D
Hope it smashes sales records. If only the fingerprint was on the front of the phone it be a perfet device.

Samsung is really starting to piss me off. First they give different colors to different countries. So if you for example like blue color, though luck! You could get 1 from a different country, but without a valid warranty in your own country ofcourse. Now they are selling 50% faster versions, but again you can't get 1. I hope Samsung will start facing some real competition soon! This BS is a slap in the face of all loyal Samsung users!

I have pre-ordered the S8+ in Dubai.
As per the seller, shipping will start next Saturday 15th April.
All sellers in UAE are advertising the same shipping date.

[deleted post]People who haven't used both devices are the once who tend to comment such. Phones from different OEM'Shave pros and cons. Sony's music and video player is second to none, same with Samsung's syncing capability like their browser.

I'm not sure, but I believe no U.S. carrier stocks a Sony phone as part of their offerings. And top that off with idiocy of disabling the fingerprint scanner in the U.S. distributed models doesn't help. They have very little audience in the U.S. They'd have to crawl out of a large whole to make up for it - that is - they have no momentum in the U.S.
Obviously, other regions differ.
