Pixel has imx 378 which xiaomi failed to work with in mi5s.

Jesus, guys, seriously - why do you need 8 GB on your phone? You don't even need 6 GB of RAM.
Nowadays, 4 GB of RAM is perfectly fine and enough, even on my S7.

Also Antutu is useless, it tells nothing about nothing.
For peak performance GFX bench and Geekbench are far better, but even them don't matter (much) because very rarely you use peak performance on your phone. What matters is IO performance (storage and RAM speeds/amounts)

I am a bit disappointed considering the One Plus 3T extracts an Antutu score of 165,000 out of it's SD 821.

As for today tech..6gb ram never test before..but 1gb ram are super slow, 2gb ram are a bit slow, 3gb ram are just enough, 4gb ram are fast and fun. I doubt the iphone 8 will be 3gb ram and the plus will be 4gb.

what is the point of all these performance numbers, when you can't install normal microphones with a proper sound recording on your phones, Xiaomi ? Redmi 3, 3S, 4, 4A, 4 Prime, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4 , Mi5 - they all have horrible microphones with disgusting sound recording during video capture.

All use the same SD835, Antutu is irrelevant.
It's made even more irrelevant by giving great gravity to single core performance and GPU, two of the most irrelevant things on android (IO, RAM amount and multi-core matter much more).

Anyway, Qualcomm was planning to design the kryo280 as semi-custom from the beginning.
