Mumbai-Indiand, 10 Apr 2017One query though where is their in house highend SOC970?EVERY SoC manufacturers, especially flagship ones OR one with powerful Cortex A72/A73 or similar, have to optimize their SoC.
Optimizing SoC means they have to make sure it won't heat easily, let alone overheating like SD810, they have to tune the clock of the processors & GPU for the optimal use; lower clocked SoC will result underperformed SoC which won't sell, higher clocked SoC without careful tuning will result in overheating which won't sell too, and so on.
Don't u remember how long it takes Qualcomm to develop SD820 successor before introducing SD835? Almost 2 years! This is because the previous planned SD830 scrapped mid-way,
because QC can't solve Kyro 100 bad energy consumption, making Qualcomm needs to redesign a new SoC with the remaining time, which is why they choose to made semi-custom Kyro by licensing Cortex A73 core design, which won't be as time-consuming as making a new ones from scratch

S7, s7 edge , XZ, X , iphone 7 32gb , zenfone 3 deluxe ... All showed up much more than 1200 dollars here.

Huawei is the only chinese to sell well all around.
1) Apple is #3 in China, Samsung not even top 7
2) In my country Xiaomi sold the old and simple Redmi 2 for something about 200 dollars. Mi5 was 300 dollars in China.
What I say these OEM are not able to sell all around for same price they charge in China and India.
- Taxes, so the devices can enter your country
- Transport the devices
- Advertise the product
They have to spend money on these things, money they would have to add to devices' prices.
Yes.. Big part of their population is poor. More than people of Latin America.

I don't know which Xiaomi Mi 5s they had.. but mine always scored from 144k to 153k. It is the 64gb 3gb Ram version.

Shame these aren't available in Europe officially. People have to look at imports and no European support which is a no-go for most. Like the size of it though.

Since its a 12 mp sensor, I hope they use dual imx 362.
i hope dont use imx 378, they failed to deliver with mi5s.
