Akinaro, 12 Apr 2017How coo is to make device that have even physical button fo... moreI never see Bixby as a 'voice assistant'. More like just an AI layered on android. Not neccessarily be access with voice. That is what the physical button for so you dont need to yell at your phone like an idiot. Beside, most feature like Reminder, Home and Vision is more useful. That 3 feature itself is more than enough. Then, use the Google Assistant - which is always there no matter what - for voice assistant feature.

So S8 model before then will just have a button that does nothing? That is literally retarded, Samsung had better plan better next time, before making themselves look like this big of fools.

I think that people are being a little bit harsh about Bixby.
Ok, you can not expect Samsung to have it configured to work in every language from the word go. It is unreasonable to think that is possible. Cast your minds back to the early days of Siri, it was buggy an talking to it was the butt of many jokes, but it has evolved and while I do not own an iPhone and have not used it, I believe that people who do use the feature are happy with it for the most part, sure most will tell you that they want more features and they do seem to come in dribs and drabs, but that is to be expected, the tech is extremely complicated.
Now, think about this for a moment, once they have gotten the Bixby voice working properly, and to keep in line with the vision, lets say your home is well furnished with lots of IoT such as washing machines, dryers, fridge, oven, light, garage door and considering that Samsung have just gotten the Harmon Group acquisition, they have a good chance to put it in your car too. Now, add all this together and you have a system that follows you everywhere, knows where your home is and how far you are away from it, it knows if you go to your local supermarket and will remind you that you have run out of milk or carrots and will trigger some reminders. It can turn on the hob to start the water boiling that you left on the hob before you left your home that morning. Bixby is meant to be a lot more than what Google Assistant is or can ever become. Yes, Samsung is the new ecosystem you are buying into, but it can work. I think you have to be willing to consider that this is what it is meant to be, not what it is at launch.
Good things come to those who wait.

How coo is to make device that have even physical button for feature that... doesnt work...
And knowing Samsung, just like any other Voice Assistant, including Google, they add new languages after few years, that will be bugged as heII. And before other countries get their own language... this Assistant will be long forgotten and replaced by new voice assistant that AGAIN will have only one language at start, and it will get additional after few good years...

something not working properly from Samsung after boasting product? When did we not see this before. Bixby is having issues and because if its a problem that happens in the USA, the negativaty can spread very quickly.
