Bixby Voice will not be available for Samsung Galaxy S8’s launch in US

One of the most boasted-about features of the Galaxy S8 won’t be supported at launch in the US until Samsung flips the switch.

    Will anyone actually use this, "Bixby"? I never use Google Now, I prefer using a browser to search on Internet! Bixby, and Google Now, are just toys, fun but not really needed! Just as Apple/Google Watch!

      Everything is as usual. Key features not available at start. Samsung Pay - still nothing in my contry, Bixby - the same, paid themes - not yet ... Why should I pay the whole price for a half working product?

        I don't need Bixby. I'll be more than happy if S8 has an option to launch other application with that bixby button.

            Hmmm...maybe not that it matters, but funny how they waited for pre-orders to pile up before stating this. Not that anyone was ordering just for the Bixby assistant though. Wonder why they are so late to the game on that anyway, or if it is just a marketing hype or another money maker.

              this is good news...

                The title could easily just say, "Bixby Voice will be available later this spring". The rest of the feature like Bixby Home, Vision & Reminder available by April 21.

                    Well, so not just it is in its premature period, but even in its infancy, haha, jokes aside. So it will be better for Samsung to work as hard as possible on it, if obviously they don't want it to be another flop

                      Make that button "remappable", please. I want Google Assistant and not another Samsung app doing the same function + gimmicks.
