heres your proof, list of smartphone suppliers by units sold... one plus is ahead of sony..
and lol.. people hardly buy sony flagships, its their low end models what sells..
people with money like us, never even look for a brand which doesn't shine, like samsung s series or apple iphones..
I love sony PS4, and their music works, but sony needs to step up their game...
i used to love sony when they were with Ericsson, the designs were unique, they
had top of the line camera and displays.. now it pales in front of samsung, or apple
, you wont believe , but I have 3 old xperia right in my home, dead, obviously , and i am still using a crappy vaio, regretting that I spent 1000$ for it.. but i love their ps4, its good deal..
so i am not a fan basher, i just beleive in the truth.. i have no particular preferance for a brand, i choose from different brands.. for tv i have LG, for AC, i chooose, carrier, for smartphone its sammy, for tablet its ipad, and for gaming its ps4

AnonD-82756, 12 Apr 2017Wheres Sony?????why r u guy so obeesseee with market.... the most important thing now is profit to stay in business....sony is getting profit more and more due to increasing flaghip xperia xz , xzs, xz premium....what the point selling cheap2 and selling millions but end of the day getting tiny profit and loss eventually out of business like some chinese brand....exp.... samsung j series which contribute market share, j2 prime.. how many profit can it sustain samsung operation cost..? samsung is banking on s7 edge or s8.... if u count s7 egde or s8 market share it may be only 2~4 % only....if u take out he samsung s series , and count on j series samsung already long time out of business.... please compare flaghips sales and market share noobbb..

I prefer Sony over Samsung. Trust me. But so many of Sony fanboys overrate their products. In mobile, they are UNDERrated by reviews thanks to so many tech reviewers under Samsung, Apple, and Dbrand's pockets.
I wanted the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play to succeed. Didn't happen. I wanted the PS Vita to succeed. Didn't happen. If I want DSLR, I can easily go with their Japanese rivals like Panasonic or Nikon. Their critically acclaimed movies are overrated.
All Sony fanboys got are charts saying the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One. SMH. Every other area, they are hit or miss. Sony has no direction or consistency across the board. I own a Sony Blu-ray player. I prefer my LG more because the menu looks better and it can read all types of formats.
Get out of here if you believe Sony is a god in tech. They lost a long time ago. They price their products simply from past reputation which is inflated. Sony baloney. Sony Timer. Look it up.

Let'... moreSony lost to korea and chinese brand because of pricing is far from truth, yup their midrange has almost the same price as Xiaomi and OP flagship, but that true for other brand also, just take Oppo, say oppo r9s plus, it priced beyond it should not to say it just chinese brand
The only chinese brand that sell cheap is oneplus, Xiaomi, leeco and meizu. Other like huawei, oppo, vivo is selling like other big brand, with high price tag
Even huawei p10 is more expensive or about the same price with XZs in some country
