There's a BIG walking dead difference between "testing" and a "roll out". Who knows if other OEMs could have already started testing the next Android version under wraps before Huawei did? It's not like this news would mean Huawei will release Android O the same day Google outs the version or the day Google rolls it out on their Nexus or Pixel devices (Don't Google usually unveil the latest version first before they push it to their Google devices and way before other OEMs get a hold of the latest version?). Although it COULD mean like so, who knows if other OEMs could surprise us with a roll out earlier than Huawei's intended roll out schedule?

I suggest Android dOnut 8.0
Coming years sequentially Android P 9.0, Q 10.0, R.11.0, .... down to Z 19.0.
So, we have quite long time for upgrade.
