What i'm pointing here is that the XA1's sensor has much more raw megapixels to produce detail, thus higher-res shots. That's it's potential, not it's overall results. However, there is a chance that the One X10 also has similar pixel size if the sensor is smaller. (1/3.06")

design is good. battery good and if it is HTC manufactured is a huge step. super LCD 5 is actually in many terms better than GS7 OLED (both Samsung manufactured by the way but gs7 has a greenish tint witch is sometimes very annoying - specially in B&W pictures) so ... good. and remember that protection is huge part of spending in low end phones ... so if it has gorilla 4 or 5... i say it is a good phone. and at 175gr a heavy one yet at 5.5" and 4000mah. P10 is very good cpu for interface and browsing ... but nothing more(not very good DAC or GPU)

That said, Helio P10 is a deal breaker for me.

Personally, I have two HTC One A9. Two years now almost. (Looked at phones for 3 months before getting this. It was a good decision) looks, feels and performs brilliantly. That's after the One S with the S 4 chip Both brilliant. You have to pick your models. I do like what they have done with these, + pixel, the 10 and the new Ocean. Their tweaks to optimize as in this one in the article are understated. As is Ocean sense touch. Looking with interest.

so probably about 400€ in Germany? that would be steep... very steep. i could buy an Axon 7, which is arguably the better phone, for little more than that on Amazon
