Htc should have gone with SD 625. This Helio p10 doesn't seem to be a wise choice. But those who think the design has been copied from xiomi, please have a look on m7. Htc pioneered this design. And plz don't compare htc sense with miui.

New addition to these other useless MTK P10 phones

Valensi, 14 Apr 2017What's the point of putting 4000mAh battery on 28nm technol... moreThe SoC plays far lesser role than you think. It's only 30% of the total power consumption (hardware wise). So even if P20 uses 30% less battery than P10 you just gained 9% overall battery. A phone with 28nm and 4000 battery would have quite more battery life than a 3000 phone with 16nm SoC is everything else is equal.

The one component that predicts battery life the best is neither the screen or the SoC used, it's the battery itself. No matter how efficient the SoC/screen are OEMs should not be cheapening out on battery, like ever, it's probably the most important component in mobiles, because even the best phone when dead is actually useless.
