Bear in mind that MS did not make any flagship phone last year, so the low percentage of sales is expected. Till now most people are yearning for a flagship device from MS.

AnonD-196068, 15 Apr 2017MS have very effectively separated the men from the boys. T... moreWindows 10 is an unmitigated disaster
The desire was for all...all Window 8 phones to be updated at least to receive one or two Windows 10 updates

Rather than pull Windows 10 Microsoft released the flawed product as the Lumia 950 & 650 were to be launched with Windows 10 out of the box

Microsoft have stopped selling all phones as every single update adds something new and messes sometimes else up

Windows 8 works just fine, the few models left that could update to Windows 10 have had nothing but problems, some have reverted back.

Remember Samsung and the Note 7, Samsung stopped selling the Note 7, Microsoft have done the same because the software updates (which outnumber Android still have not fixed Windows 10.

Microsoft have said that 13 phones are eligible for this update, but have stopped selling any of these phones

I would and could and need an upgrade, the Lumia 950 or X3 Elite but only if they ran Windows 8

18 months after the 950 launch the problems of Windows 10 are still being corrected.

I hope that Microsoft gets it act together and produces a viable operating system, because we need choice as we only have Apple and Android, Android is so overcrowded, you literally are changing logo by switching brands

                Hello,
I feel so sorry for people who use old Lumia devices and crying here for MS to allow update to their old phones. These are the people that make the most noise here.
Thank you MS for this brave move. Please those with old devices are free to leave, we are tried of your noise, "I own 2 lumia devices from the 80s blah, blah, blah!", "windows phone is dead blah, blah, blah!", I will never windows phones again blah, blah, blah!. Stop whining and move on!
MS please separate the men from the boys.

"We looked at feedback from our Windows Insiders and realized that we were not providing the best possible experience for our customers on many older devices. That helped us determine which devices we support for the Windows 10 Creators Update," WHAT, that makes no sense! And WTH is a MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601?!

Microsoft needs to make new hardware (devices) available at competing prices. Software is awesome and apps have also been updated recently. Simplicity in the interface common to all devices was incredible. Microsoft also should have good marketing reach and strategies to counter equivalent apps unavailability issues. If even they had persisted they might have been at highs....

                      thats it??no lumia 1520 or 1020??sad...so sad...bad move microsoft...bad move

Someone see what I see - there is no single NOKIA Lumia in this list. Only MS Lumia devices. This is Microsoft revenge. Lumia 930 has better CPU GPU than 640, 650 etc. but it is not supported. "Because of negative feedback" - such a hypocrisy. If the feedback is negative - improve the software, but no. They cancel the update for it.
Typical Microsoft behaviour. Hope they suffer a lot and die as a company slow and painfully.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2017Only 6 Lumias... yes, Lumia is dying.Lumia isn't dying !!! Lumia is already dead long ago !!!

I don't care much of the updates. I have had 2 Lumia phones and 1 I still use.
Before I had Samsung that got only one update. First lumia was 520 and the second I 830.

I am not looking a new phone as both of them work just fine and well all the new phones are so big that you need to rent wheelbarrow just to carry it around with you

Lol those with old hardware were the ones who nagged a lot. Complained about everything when it was visible they had dated hardware. That's why MS had enough and cut them off. Just buy the newer hardware for Windows 10 mobile. Even android OEMs stops supporting hardware after 2 years. Most windows phone fans have been ungrateful 3 years for God's sake!. Microsoft please release new hardware and we would Buy it as faithfuls. People with lower midrange hardware in recent times craving for flagship functionality that's strange isn't it . MS you did well. Now give us the best OS.

This is not bad. Some Android phones stop getting any update even if they are released only one year ago

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2017I'll never buy Microsoft based smart phones again. Disappointed. The problem is people were buying them based off some promise of a better future. That's not how it works. You buy what's available currently and fits your needs currently. I love the OS but apps are important. And at some point I chose the OS over apps. But my next phone will be apps over the OS. My biggest reason for this is the built in apps have a huge bearing on it. Recently MS changed the maps app to use some different mapping data and it is just ridiculous. It has caused me and my bro quite a headache when using GPS. And of course Google is not available on windows. At least Apple users can use Google.

Dont worry Dona, as absolutely nobody cares. Everybody has already moved on way back!

From a die hard windows fan, from wp7 to win 10 mobile.......Tired of all the crap. Jumped to Huawei Honor 8 like a rat from the sinking ship that is Microsoft. I'm happy Nokia is back and I will never look at another MS device again. Once Nokia stands up again with the 8 or 9 I shall return to my holy Grail of mobile devices that is Nokia.
