Oooh yeah...i love that 4500mAh battery capacity, large screen with minimal bezels and i hope not as elongated n narrow as the 18:9 aspect ratio screens. One of my top devices.. together with Mate 10, Pixel 2XL, LG V30 and Nokia 9.

Bezelhunting at a crazy level. I would like the physical buttons on the button (back home a.s.o.). Doesn't med to be very big, but I hate to slide up every time before using. One step extra sucks, time spent on nothing useful

Couldn't there be a front facing camera that pops out from the side of the phone or something? Might be a bit awkward, but I would accept any solution that allows for the front to be display only.

I would love a phone without a selfie ca... more16:9 is not conventional when you have soft buttons. 17:9 is conventional (since 1:9 of the screen is taken by the soft buttons). Fortunally Xiaomi knows that and would equip Mix Mix 2 with a 17:9 display (like they did with MiMix 1).
17:9 has the added benefit of being a standard resolution. Meaning movies would look literally full screen on it as it support both 2k (2048x1080) and 4k (4096x1080) resolutions which are the film industry standard. Netflix is a dream on Mi Mix.

It is killing me. I would love a phone without a selfie camera and just the display on the front. Yet, the specs shows a 13MP front camera. In fairness, Xiaomi got it right with the AMOLED display and the conventional aspect ratio.

Unlike the Koreans, Xiaomi is not holding back when it comes to specs. They are basically what Samsung used to be (load everything to the max), with better software support (weekly updates).

Ronin, 20 Apr 2017front facing speakers are dead live with it, and so are rem... moreLol, silly troll, they removed the removable batteries to harm the user and basically make planned obsolescence the norm. People not talking about it was exactly what pushed the companies to do it.
Now you need to wait 90 minutes to charge (used to be 1 minute to pop a spare) , pay $50 and destroy the structural inttegrity of your phone to replace a dying battery, *having to* carry a bulky mobile charger in particularly heavy days. All strong negatives that fanboys ate whole heartedly because they accept to let companies tell them what they need instead of voicing their opinion through buying practices.

Most speakers don't work like that, you don't have to touch them, meaning (partially) deaf people can't hear through them, also means they need an opening to the atmosphere (as they conduct those vibrations through air -sound- mostly) which uses space on the front face of the phone.
