Third, where u read about removable batteries in my comment? And fourth, front facing speakers aren't dead. And I'm not talking about dual front facing speakers. I said about the speaker in place of earpiece, and iPhone 7, HTC 10, and xiaomi's own Mi6 have that. and u should be aware of that coz xiaomi just unveiled Mi6 and front facing speaker was one of the key points in presentation. so YOU stop crying lol. And anyone who's going to reply me on this comment, first read the conversation.

At this point Xiaomi innovates more than Samsung or LG, I expect them with more first on the market.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 20172540*1440? If that is really true, it means the screen will... moreIt's not correct. Mi mix uses 17:9 aspect ratio. So QHD+ ... sadly QHD+ is terrible for movies. Movies are either 4k (4096x2160) or 2k (2048x1080) and sometimes ultra wide (~2048x900 or ~4096x1800) in all of which occasions a 2k or a 4k screen would be better as there would be 1:1 or 2:1 or 1:2 pixel count. For example Mi Mix 1 has 2080x1080 (basically 2k) so I'd prefer if Mi Mix 2 had 4k (4160 X 2160), it would enable them to have proper VR (movies and stuff).
But apparently 4k mobile amoled panels are still out of reach given that Samsung didn't employ to mass produce them for one more time (they pushed the same pixel density for 4th in a row, at this point they don't care).

LG superfan, 20 Apr 2017Maybe front camera is embedded in the display or something ... moreIt is not possible for now. Not at least for xiaomi, the market leaders Samsung and LG (in terms of display tech) aren't able to do so for themselves, so don't expect that to happen.

seems like both the cameras are on a slider. Slide up if you want to see the front camera... I think there was a similar leak couple of months back

I'd like to know how networks in the UK are going to treat phablets like these,three etc have had,for years now, an arbitrary limit of 6 inche screen size and then treat it like a tablet,meaning you cannot use "normal" Sims but have to use their very pricey mobile broadband tariffs,they just invented the size one day and killed off me using my original galaxy tab gtp1000 and then nexus 7's, just couldn't afford 7 times the price for same amount of data..
If anyone from UK has recent experience of large phablets

2540*1440? If that is really true, it means the screen will ruin most movies quality because they will have to downscale 20 pixel lines.
