LG G6 set for April 24 launch in Europe

A total of 24 countries in the region will get the handset first, including the UK, Sweden, Finland, France and Germany.

AnonD-446869, 20 Apr 2017Stop being lg haters here Do you own g6???? Nope! Waited 3 months and still not released in Europe, more particularly in the UK so picking up my S8 Plus tomorrow. Nothing to do with hating on LG but simply highlighting their poor marketing strategy. Not that complicated.

    Sorry LG, you missed the boat. How can a phone be announced in February, granted towards the end of February, and get released at the end of April....? Samsung and Huawei already filled the space. The yanks do not buy phones like us in Europe do, they go for contract phones for the most part and you get both contract and SIM free in Europe and it would make more sense to release a phone in both markets around the same time and not 3 months apart.

      I really don't undersrand lg's strategy of releasing its flagships as late as possible, they did that with v20 and now, g6. They might as well just give up the flagship space so that their low flagship sales could go to a worthy competitor to fight samsung

Side bezels are the only ones that matter. Taller phones are stupid since they can't be used with one hand. I also much prefer physical buttons on the bottom bezel than on-screen keys taking up 10% of the screen.

            Futuristic design? Smart people don't give a crap. S7 edge and S8 look very futuristic and they suck. Edge screens are useless gimmicks which make the phone harder to use and easier to break.

OP3T has 6 gigs of ram vs 4 and a minimum of 64 gb storage vs 32 oh the G6. LG G6 is the most beautiful smartphone atm, even better looking than Galaxy S8, but good looks won't sell it alone. The specs are horrible for a 2017 phone.

Why an... moreBecause the OnePlus is a run-of-the-mill phone, while the G6 is a futuristic design with larger screen, minimal bezels and much better build quality. It's overpriced as of now, but you can't compare it with the OnePlus crap.

                        Okay, I'm guessing the Netherlands isn't part of Europe lol
                        T-Mobile is selling the G6 since last week, they have it on exclusivity though​, if you wanna with other carrier, you need to buy it full price.

                            Plus worse battery life, no amoled. It does have a better camera though. Still LG G5 is cleary the better phone (also G5 is on marshmallow which allows for xposed support if you're in that short of thing).
