Greatest phone on the planet today. Most practical, most elegant, most superior-looking and most specced out device available (or yet to be available). Seriously how can anyone choose Samsung s8 over this gem. Really mind buggling.

Samsung galaxy Edge S7 droped by my girlfriend once, month after purse and its screen broked.(it was in official samsung expensive case). Tnx to the insurance it was just ~80 euro, with out it repair cost would be ~ 650 euro (almost new unit price) .Same repair for Sony will be around 200 euro ...
About "used units" its always depends on unit actual quality and not just on model it self. "like new" vs "used as fuck"

Here in India, Samsung and Sony both lose their market value evenly. In recent, old midrange Sony phones sold for really cheap, coz most of them were stuck to 3G and ppl wanted phones for jio 4G. Samsung flagships also lose market value rapidly coz Samsung lower the new phone price too much. Last year S5 sold for 15000 which was 35000 a year ago and 50000 at launch. Second hand z4 was cheaper than 1 year old z3 coz of heating issues. Sony flagships mostly retain price but midrange lose, cause their specs get really outdated.

Color option: new 'shiny' black
Speaker: placed at the at the bottom like, you guess it, yeah iPhone
Headphone jack: bottom like iphone
Os: UI layout similar to iOS
IP rating: how convenient that Samsung phones are water and dust resistant, after the fact the whole Z lineup had this features since the beginning
Fingerprint scanner: embedded into the home button like who?? Yeah
Ui assistant: that joke called siri, oops I meant S voice lol
NFC payment/Android pay: S pay
Facial recognition: Iris scanner, and no it does not scan your corgnia. It uses the same scanner for facial features as face unlock uses since jellybean. You can't unlock the note 7 with a picture of the owner lol
Bigger phones: The name Plus (not the note)
And the list goes on and on. Even the CEO is a blatantly fraud. How many of their CEOs have to get locked up before you realize that Samsung is crooked.

too late for release, its always the mistake of sony to release their phones too late for the other phone company to gain the market share. what's the point of introducing them early when availability would be forever. this is why sony always lose in the game and end up in the shelves and the price is too premium considering the small screen size compared to the competitiors

Sony phones lose their value amazingly fast. In my country you can exchange an S5 for a Z5 despite the Z5 being 1 generation newer than the S5.
Similarly I'll be able to exchange my S7 for this phone...not that I'd want to. Perhaps...if the screens don't start self-cracking.
