not with the NOTE 8 so close. the realistic number you are looking for is ~USD300
you have lost me already setting 600 as your target price

That's around $255 less than what the Note7 was going for when it was released last year, namely KRW 988,900 ($875)."

Omar Mohamed, 26 Apr 2017Actually hdr will be the next big thing within 2 years Mar... moreIt will be. Samsung would be unable to use it as their screen is not UHD spec so HDR content is not going to play on it despite already being HDR ready. The little ironies of life.

The little gimmick you bought is actually useless as it will never get be supported by the relevant apps. Never! (NetfliX and Amazon video got out of their away to repeat that, S8 screens are not to be supported because Samsung decided to save a few pennies and used the low QHD+)

Please will the refurbished Note 7 still be water/dust peoof ?

$620 is too high for something refurbished. I might consider it since I have a DBrand skin still unused. The same amount of money, or even less could get me the Note8 for my plan renewal. A matter of waiting another 3 months more.
