What a piece of s... oap! Mobile hotspot only let's windows 10 computers visit Google and WIKIPEDIA sites. Galaxy apps store doesn't work on their end. Phone is so slippery that you can't hang on to it or even touch it without Something being activated. The S8 gets 1 of 5 stars from me.

AnonD-665167, 27 Apr 2017Another Samsung known issue - dont see these with iPhones ?... moreExactly - Apple will rectify issues within days - Samsung? They will release the devices and wait for the customer have the bad experiences, this is why Apple will always have a more popular customer base. Take the Samsung Note that caught alight when charging, how did they not spot such a hazard while in the troubleshooting/testing part of the development of the device ???

If so you go to an Apple store and they will replace it with no questions asked.

My wife's doesn't have the patch available either. There are temporary fixes, like disabling DQA (best option if you have an app that can do so), not using wifi, force stopping DQ, and rebooting the phone.

Was your wifi on and connected? there again. It is still true as it is a confirmed error within the code of the day one update that went to all US and Canada. People may have experienced it on different levels, or may have already had DQA force stopped/wifi off/had it disabled/etc. Meaning you telling me because you didn't experience it, really doesn't matter.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017So advocating to be fair to each OEM, I did no exaggeration... moreNot to mention that Samsung is the largest and most popular Android OEM right now. Many other OEMs literally base models off of them, thereby reporting mistakes and hurdles in Samsung's devices, can help the market overall. It is called constructive criticism, denying an issue actually HURTS the device if it is in fact legitimate.

I don't deny LG's bootloop problems, however that dead horse is pulp...and the issue has been fixed, minus defects. Just as now, this patch fixes the DQA crash, it is done, however it was still an issue that is justified to be known.

I did not say it was a major, or issue that should tank or hinder Samsung, only that its justifiably reported on, as it is a system application that fails and crashes on the majority of devices, while Samsung both had the spotlight for the Note 7 debacle AND shown a spotlight on themselves with their very own PR with enhanced QA testing.
