26 April 2017
Ever since users installed the day-one software update, an error started popping up every 30-seconds to a minute, saying "DQA keeps stopping."

People exaggerating the scale of the bootloop problem...you stating that the G6 has it when there's nothing of the matter?

You seem to fit your own description, at least from what I can see.

The real issue is the people over exaggerating the issue even after it is fixed. The only pattern I see is how simple human can be. I could point out all your flaw if I see you in real life. Can you fix that issue in a day? How would you feel if people keep teasing you about your issue? Can you improve yourself? Even after you fixed it there is a big chance people would still be talking about it. Aint no simple update gonna save you.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017Enough riddles.. What pattern are you trying to invent? No riddle I would have thought. There is clear pattern of anything that is found wrong with the phone is always not an issue even when Samsung are deploying urgent updates to fix them!

Did I claim it was only a G4 problem or did I claim that other devices were affected, but in far fewer amounts? If we want to talk defects, we can list all day, every single device from every OEM

AnonD-257034, 26 Apr 2017While the G6 hasn't yet bootlooped, calling it an exclusive... moreActually read the amounts of devices effected. The G4 is the only one that is above normal defect percentages. If you count the others, then be fair and count every single other defective device from every manufacturer...Samsung's excessive swelling batteries...from the Galaxy S to the over defect level Note 7, Samsung's Bluetooth and wifi issues, Samsung's cellular signal handshake loss from the S4 to the S6...Get my point?

even on the lawsuit the G4 is the only devices with enough signatures to have traction, the rest were placed on there by people who don't even own the devices, and signed by people who don't own the devices, thereby almost voiding them out. Look stuff up.

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017Here is why they aren't covering it...every single problem ... moreWhile the G6 hasn't yet bootlooped, calling it an exclusively G4 problem is simply wrong as it affects all LG flagships from the G3 to the V20. I honestly expect the G6 to start bootlooping in a couple months as well, given their track record.

Polius, 26 Apr 2017Yup. Its fixed. I dont know why gsmarena focus so much on S... moreHere is why they aren't covering it...every single problem you listed on the G6 only effects very small percentages of total G6s. Bootloop isn't even a thing on the G6...give that issue a rest, it was a G4 problem, we are 2 generations past it, every other device claimed for it has been well under normal defects, and not even a peep on the G6. This DQA issue was effecting 100% of US and Canadian devices, every single one, that's why it got covered. Samsung has the spotlight on them because of the Note 7 debacle..it was sensational, it revealed a gaping crack in their armor, they need this criticism, they need to improve on their Q&A, and this is a way to get there...we cant just blindly accept problems from the biggest and highest selling android manufacturer.

Red tint on phone. We are told it looks nice and then subsequently a fix will be issued next week. Then we are told it is no big issue.
Wireless Charging issue. Not an issue despite Samsung stating they may issue a software fix.
DQA problems. An urgent update is pushed out yet apparently it is not an issue!

Are you seeing a pattern here by any chance?

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017Note logic because excuses. Sure.....So Samsung actually label the update as urgent but you don't think it is an issue? So it is an urgent non issue. Interesting logic. The lengths people will go to defend at any cost. We were even told the red tint looked nice at one point!

And it has n... moreThen do not tell to consumers how samsung tested the new s8 with new safety and quality checks which are the most complex of all time in the phone industry. After the big fail with the Note series and the promised quality supervision promised you just can not afford a tiny bit issue. So be it, happened and people are loosing faith in Samsung. It is maybe just a small issue or more issues which can be fixed with software upgrades but showing how Samsung can feed the audience with anything even told stuffs are bull****.
