    2. I can not find more than 3-4 cases about iPhone batteries catching fire that have been republished on the internet hundreds of times, and you are comparing with Samsung's S8 of which 4 out of 10 Galaxy S8 (40%) have red tint and who's millions Note 7 have been recalled because of life-threatening exploding batteries? Sorry to break this to you, but you're a total Samsung zombie!

Not like Apple which reluctantly refuses to order a recall of their battery in iPhone's catching fire.

Either nonexistant, or if any reported, under 0,5% of devices affected.
            There....
On the other hand seems this obviously existant problem of tinted screens affects at least 30%, and at most 70% of devices produced.
Googl the subject on yt, one guy got 10 devices, of which 4 were affected. Other one here exchanged 7 devices before getting the unaffected one,... etc, etc

And I have no clue what you mean by grey, as each individual pixel can easily display grey through delivering low wattage to all subpixels within that pixel.

Well with true white color deal is not so easy. In real life place white color temperature various depending on day time light and weather conditions. Its calling white color balanse. So white color can divide for parts depending on day time wheather and place artifical light sources. Simply warm white in kelvin temperature (k) scale is 2000-3000k cool white 3100-4500k and daylight 4600-6500k. Naturally morning white is warm 3500k midday with sun cool white 5500k cloudy day 6500k white. And some day parts with really warm white sunrise sunsets 2500k. Other white color balanse depending on place artifical light source color in kelvin temperature (k) scale. So Samsung making red tint screen making warm white like sunset or sunrise. Warm white is healty and good for eyes evening and night time helping sleep well relax for eyes. But in day time and cloudy day it screen may will looks weird and not normally depending on people screen color acceptable and taste. So people may should turn of red tint display if dont like how looks and let people own control screen. Or make screen white color balance more automatically depending on daytime weather conditions and places artifical light sources. Here would be helpful full color spectrum ambient light sensor which sense all day all light conditions. Apple will put full color spectrum ambient light sensor for next iPhones. So for now for my personal screen color taste Samsung red tint display is first time very good job after bluish and violet screens which is not healty for eyes. But Red tint should make control and manage manualy for screen tint what people need now and like. So basic mode should be red tint with manual screen tint control possibility. If they will fix it making basic screen looking cold bluish over 6504k white it allso will be bad. So will be careful samsung and didn't make another mistake. Even close 6504k white looks bluish for evening so make it warmer i think should be good 3000-3500k. But not colder then 4000k.
