Samsung says nature of AMOLED displays causes red tint

    Depressed Individual, 27 Apr 2017then amoled is garbage.I assume that you never had an amoled display before. If you did, you wont be coming back to regular IPS-LCD. the world looks much vibrant on amoled.

      My S4 which was super AMOLED never had that issue neither did my S3 or my Huawei mate 7 which j don't even think was OLED not sure

      Seems like an excuse to me Samsung

        No-no-no Samsung Correction - I think you meant to say that the PENtile AMOLED screen is causing the red tint because of your cost saving measures. I'm sure if it was the Super AMOLED+ it will not cause this problem in the first place.

              The Sony triluminos displays are beautiful high quality screens.

              However they have in fact had tinted color issues just like most any other display

                      Colours should be natural. Not oversaturated and especially not with a red tint.

                                      I willing to bet the reason for this red tint is their pentile arrangements. They don't have an equal amount of red, green, blue pixels.

                                        True White in RGB standart value is Red 255 Green 255 Blue 255. White color temperature in kelvin scale is 6504k.
